Compatible Cartridges
A compatible cartridge is a brand-new cartridge manufactured by a third-party company to work with specific printer models. It is designed to meet the same fit and function as the original (OEM) cartridge while offering a more affordable printing solution.
No. A properly manufactured compatible cartridge will not damage your printer. High-quality compatible cartridges are designed to meet the printer's specifications and can be used safely when installed correctly.
OEM cartridges are made by your printer's manufacturer. Compatible cartridges are made by an independent manufacturer to work with the same printer models. Both are designed to produce reliable print results, but compatible cartridges typically offer significant cost savings.
Some printers automatically display a message whenever a compatible cartridge is installed. This is a manufacturer warning, not an indication that the cartridge is defective. In most cases, you can simply acknowledge the message and continue printing normally.
Some compatible cartridges do not report ink or toner levels accurately because printer manufacturers use proprietary chip technology. This does not affect print quality. Replace the cartridge when print quality begins to fade or when the printer indicates it is empty.
Choosing the Right Cartridge
Search using your printer model or the original cartridge number. Always verify that your printer model appears in the product's compatibility list before purchasing.
Page yield is the estimated number of pages a cartridge can print under standardized testing conditions. Actual page yield depends on page coverage, print settings, graphics, and printing habits.
The difference is the amount of ink or toner inside the cartridge.
- Standard Yield prints the fewest pages.
- High Yield prints more pages than Standard Yield.
- Extra High Yield prints the most pages and usually provides the lowest cost per page.
All versions are designed to fit the same compatible printer models unless otherwise specified.

Troubleshooting
First, make sure the protective seal has been removed and the cartridge is fully seated in the printer. Turn the printer off, wait 30 seconds, and restart it. If the problem continues, remove and reinstall the cartridge. If it is still not recognized, contact our support team for assistance.
Verify that you ordered the correct cartridge for your printer model. Compare the cartridge number with the one required by your printer. Never force a cartridge into the printer, as it should install smoothly when it is the correct model.
Some printers continue displaying an empty or low-ink message when using compatible cartridges. If print quality is normal, you can usually continue printing. If the printer stops printing completely, remove and reinstall the cartridge or restart the printer.
Run your printer's cleaning or alignment cycle first. Check that all protective tape has been removed and that the cartridge is properly installed. If print quality does not improve after one or two cleaning cycles, contact our support team.
Confirm that the cartridge matches your printer model, remove any protective packaging, and reinstall it carefully. Restart the printer and try again. If the cartridge still does not work, contact our support team. If the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect, it will be handled under our Warranty Policy.
